Lillie and Cade's weekend with Aunt Missy and Uncle Tim

This is Lillie again. We watched the soccer game--the World Cup--and my team won. Italy, Italy, GO ITALY!

We ate lunch and then went swimming. We had lots of fun. There was even Blue Heron Island. And there was purple and green heron island too! We did cannonballs and spinning jumps. It was so fun and we even dived!

Then we went for a boat ride around Lake Union and looked at houseboats. Libby and her friend Paul joined us.

And dinner was a success at Red Robin. Then Peggy came over for dessert which was yummy ice cream. And we played snowboarding games again, and I completed a bunch of challenges with the help of Uncle Tim.

Cade liked to steer the sailboat.

This is a picture of us snuggling together.

We played Chutes and Ladders and Aunt Missy won.

I drew a picture of two fairies. Cade drew a picture of a fairy with green skin.

This is a picture of us on the bench.

And we fed my friend geese. I had a few geese friends who were there, and honked to them and they honked back to me!

This is a squirrel and visits the neighborhood. We went on a scavenger hunt on the way to the store. And Uncle Tim took a picture of a leaf in my hand.

Cade decided to not go to sleep right away and thought he should get into Aunt Missy's makeup kit, and he put on a little makeup himelf. Then he fell asleep on the floor. :)

This is Lillie again. This morning I woke up and it was a nice new day. And we got to sleep in and everything. We had brown sugar oatmeal for breakfast. Then Aunt Missy had to work and we spilled a bunch of peanuts. And then we picked them up and had a lot of fun. Cade rode down the steps in a wagon. Since I wouldn't eat my peanut butter and honey sandwich, Aunt Missy made me a quesadilla. This afternoon we were still picking up peanuts and Cade was still taking rides down the steps in his wagon. Then Aunt Missy turned on music and the peanuts flew into the bag. Uncle Tim came home and Aunt Missy left in the boat to go to work. Then we had a team meeting and we decided to clean up for Aunt Missy, order a pepperoni pizza, and drank three glasses of Lime-oon-aide. We ate dessert on the roof. I was really great at the snowboarding game and I got a higher score than Uncle Tim!

This is Cade again. Today I rode down the steps in my wagon. Lillie told you already in the summer vacation journal. I like to be silly willy. And then I like to turn into a ferocious monster trying to eat Lillie! I also played the snowboarding game and I did really well too.

Hi, I am Lillie. This afternoon we went rock climbing. I climbed to the top! It was really scary and tall, but I made it. I have this little brother Cade; he's crazy! He's crazy because he's rambuncious and all that stuff and very michevious. And once he ate one of my stupid Barbie accessories. After climbing, we went out to dinner and I had fish 'n' chips. It was really good; it stuffed me.

Hi, I am Cade. I don't like it when my big sister Lillie hits me. So today I stepped on her hair. I climbed higher than the step but not as high as Lillie because Aunt Missy and Uncle Tim wouldn't let me.

Tuesday, the Fourth of July

Hi, it is Lillie and Cade here. Hi Mom and Dad. This is our summer journal. Today was a really big and fun day. We had to take a nap so we could watch the greatest fireworks you ever saw! It was the best, it was the greatest! We were on the dock by the boat. We were watching with Tom and Linda, Tutu and Papa, and Aunt Missy and Uncle Tim. My favorite was one that brought down lots of pieces of fireworks, even a great big giant one. And I collected them!!! The ride home was really exhausting and Cade dozed off in the middle.
